Looking forward to seeing the new venue! We’re probably gonna put things on hold here for a couple of years, but aim to go out with a bang with one more trip to nationals!

We are for sure bringing men’s and women’s open teams and most likely will have a mixed team as well. Can’t wait!

LA is more excited than ever for another competition! We will be bringing a Men’s Open and Women’s Open for sure. After that we are working on at least one senior team and if possible stretching for a mixed side.

I have played with many teams in Europe and the USA and with many old boy teams in the bay area of California, Colorado and Chicago. I have coached men’s and women’s high school teams in Denver, CO and have started up a successful kids team (Stapleton-Park Hill) in Denver, CO. I continue to play competitive old boy rugby. I also play touch rugby every Thursday with the Denver Highlander old boys and always leave the field with a smile. I have also played with the CSOBs for the past 12 years. Note that the CSOBs (Colorado Select Old Boys) created and have managed the Rocky Mountain Rugby Challenge for the past 18 years, bringing together the best men’s and women’s select U17 and &19 rugby teams in the country since 1999 (see http://www.rmcrugby.com/). This tournament works closely with USA Rugby and has given many kids whose teams did not excel and opportunity to display their skills in front of USA Selectors.

At this time, I intend to organize men’s, women’s, and mixed touch rugby teams in Denver, with the intent of eventually competing outside of Denver. Please advise us as to how we should go about associating ourselves with your organization. We would compete at many levels (under 35, +35, +45, +50 and +55). It is conceivable that we could even compete outside of Colorado this summer.
