Referees

Last year was the first time we requested each team bring their own referee. Given the importance of continual referee development in the US, we'll carry the tradition forward. Each team will again be required to provide a full-time (non-playing) USA Touch Level 2 referee or equivalent to enter the tournament.

The ability to have our entire membership focus on referee development is much needed at our current level of experience. As mentioned last year, our growth in experience and skill as players will only grow in response to that of our referees moving forward.

As an acknowledgement of the importance of the refereeing program to the growth of USA Touch, we'll be providing free lunch and physio to all referees throughout the tournament.

Additional Information

  • Nationals will be hosted at the Omni ChampionsGate Resort - fields are on-site in the complex.

  • The hotel at the Omni is fully booked, but there are plenty of alternative accommodation options available in the area.

  • Each team will be responsible for following COVID protocols in line with their clubs and local areas.

  • The Sunday (September 25th) after nationals we will be hosting a by invitation only camp for the three Opens teams - WO, MO, MXO.

  • We will send out a EOI (expression of interest) form for Masters team as part of the final team roster selection
